Cookies

Some of our webpages use what are known as cookies. Cookies neither cause damage to your computer nor do they contain viruses. Cookies help make our website more user friendly, efficient and secure. Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are what are known as session cookies. These are automatically deleted after you leave our website. Other cookies remain saved on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser when you next visit the website.

You can configure your browser so as to be informed whenever a cookie is set and choose to allow this on a case-by-case basis, to prohibit the setting of cookies in certain cases or in general and to activate the deletion of cookies automatically when you close the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you desire (e.g. shopping basket functions), are stored according to Art. 6 Para. 1(f) GDPR. The website owner has a legitimate interest in the storing of cookies, in order to provide their services free of technical faults and in an optimised manner. Should other cookies (such as those used to analyse your surfing behaviour) be stored, these will be addressed separately in this Data Protection Declaration.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This is:

Browser type and browser version

Operating system used

Referrer URL

Host name of the accessing computer

Time of the server request

The basis for data processing is provided by Art. 6 Para. 1 (b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

If you send us any inquiry using the contact form, we will store your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details your enter there, for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of any follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your permission.

We will therefore process any data you enter into the contact form only with your consent (as per Art. 6 Para. 1 (a) GDPR). You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal email sent to us is sufficient to do so. The legitimacy of your data processed by the time of your revocation is not effected thereby.

We will retain the data you enter into the contact form until you request that we delete it, revoke your consent for storage or when the reason for data storage no longer applies (e.g. upon completion of processing your inquiry). Mandatory statutory provisions, especially data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process, and use personal data only insofar as this is necessary to establish, form, or modify legal relationships with us (stock data). This takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 (b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or of pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use your personal data regarding the use of our website (usage data) only to the extent required to enable you to make use of the service or to bill you for the same.
