- Data collection on our website
Some of our webpages use what are known as cookies. Cookies neither cause damage to your computer nor do they contain viruses. Cookies help make our website more user friendly, efficient and secure. Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are what are known as session cookies. These are automatically deleted after you leave our website. Other cookies remain saved on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser when you next visit the website.
You can configure your browser so as to be informed whenever a cookie is set and choose to allow this on a case-by-case basis, to prohibit the setting of cookies in certain cases or in general and to activate the deletion of cookies automatically when you close the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you desire (e.g. shopping basket functions), are stored according to Art. 6 Para. 1(f) GDPR. The website owner has a legitimate interest in the storing of cookies, in order to provide their services free of technical faults and in an optimised manner. Should other cookies (such as those used to analyse your surfing behaviour) be stored, these will be addressed separately in this Data Protection Declaration.
Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This is:

Operating system used
Host name of the accessing computer
Time of the server request
This data is not combined with other data sources.
The basis for data processing is provided by Art. 6 Para. 1 (b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
If you send us any inquiry using the contact form, we will store your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details your enter there, for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of any follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your permission.
We will therefore process any data you enter into the contact form only with your consent (as per Art. 6 Para. 1 (a) GDPR). You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal email sent to us is sufficient to do so. The legitimacy of your data processed by the time of your revocation is not effected thereby.
We will retain the data you enter into the contact form until you request that we delete it, revoke your consent for storage or when the reason for data storage no longer applies (e.g. upon completion of processing your inquiry). Mandatory statutory provisions, especially data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.
Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process, and use personal data only insofar as this is necessary to establish, form, or modify legal relationships with us (stock data). This takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 (b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or of pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use your personal data regarding the use of our website (usage data) only to the extent required to enable you to make use of the service or to bill you for the same.
The customer data collected is deleted after completion of an order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

5. Analysis Tools and Advertising
This website uses functions of web analytics service Google Analytics, provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses what are known as cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow the analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your website use is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both their website and advertising.
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that Google truncates your IP address in the member states of the European Union or in other states party to the agreement of the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information in order to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports regarding website activity and to provide other services related to website usage and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser for Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the corresponding settings in your browser software. However, please note that you may not be able to fully utilise all functions of this website should you do so. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by cookies regarding your use of the website (incl. your IP address) from being transmitted to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Objecting to the collection of data
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is then set that prevents your data from being collected on future visits to this site: disable Google Analytics.
For more information about how Google Analytics handles user data, see Google’s data protection declaration: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.
Commissioned data processing
We have entered into a commissioned data processing contract with Google and comprehensively apply the strict regulations of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
